Sherwood is a premium bullion coin series, halfway between investment and collectible coins, representing one of the most beloved legends of all time: the story of Robin of the Hood and his fight in the heart of the mythical Sherwood Forest.
The series begins with “Robin of the Hood”, a coin that portrays the iconic archer in full action, hidden among the trees, his eyes fixed on his target: injustice. He fights against the tyrannical Prince John, whose boundless ambition plunged the kingdom into darkness during the absence of the true king, Richard the Lionheart.
Throughout this five-coin collection, we will discover some of Robin’s closest companions: Little John, always steadfast by his side; Lady Marian, more than a love, a loyal ally; and Friar Tuck, the clergyman ready to draw his sword for the good of the people. The final coin will be a surprise, and we will decide whether to include one of his enemies—the Sheriff of Nottingham, a symbol of abuse of power—or another of his friends, Will Scarlet, brave and resolute.
