Job description
We are looking for artists who are able to convert our detailed 2D sketches into 3D models that meet the dimensional and relief specifications of our development team. The 3D model must match the 2D sketch as closely as possible, taking into account shapes, proportions, light and shadow and depth, with all details and textures visible to the collector.
In order to work with us, you must meet at least one of the following requirements:
- Show us a portfolio of 3D coin modelling projects previously developed for third parties.
- Demonstrate skills through a test project which, if accepted by Asturmint, will be fully remunerated.
Main functional duties
- Create a 3D model of one side of a coin in ZBrush or any other 3D software accepted by the Asturmint development team.
- Transfer with maximum fidelity all the details, reliefs and textures of the illustration.
- Deliver the finished project within a maximum period of four weeks from the delivery of the illustration.
- Make modifications to the project if required by the development team, as long as they are reasonable and in accordance with the illustration.
- Make a first delivery of the project in PNG (without background) from at least four angles: front, profile and two intermediate angles from two different positions.
- Once payment has been received, immediately deliver the finished project by e-mail, Wetransfer or any other similar means in OBJ or STL format according to the specifications provided by the Asturmint development team.
What we offer
- Very good remuneration.
- Fast payment, Asturmint will make the payment by bank transfer within 24 hours after the delivery of the finished project. As an exception, in the case of the first project, payment will be made once the 3D model in OBJ or STL format has been delivered and reviewed by Asturmint Team.
- One piece of the coin when the entire print run has been issued and received by Asturmint.
- An all expenses paid invitation to events organised by Asturmint.
